Our Ministries

Ways We Grow and Serve Together

At New Jersey RODEM Church, our ministries help people grow in faith and serve our neighbors with practical love — a place to belong for children, youth, families, newcomers, and anyone seeking a community to call home.

One Big Family

Faith in Action, Open to All

For 20 years, since 2006, the ministries of New Jersey RODEM Church have existed for one purpose: to help people know Christ, grow as His disciples, and put that faith into action through love. Each ministry is a place to belong, to learn the Word, and to serve — welcoming Korean-American and immigrant families and every neighbor across Fort Lee, northern New Jersey, and the greater New York metro area. ONE BIG FAMILY

Whatever your age, language, or background, there is a meaningful place for you here. Volunteers are always welcome — whether you can give an hour a week or join an ongoing project, your gifts make a real difference. To get involved, plan a visit, call 201-988-9494, or email us.

What We Do

Our Ministries

Five connected ministries shape the life of our church — worship at the center, discipleship that forms us, care for the next generation, service to our community, and a heart for the world.

🎵

Worship Ministry

We gather each week to worship God together in song, prayer, and the teaching of Scripture. Worship grounds our whole community and welcomes guests of every background to encounter Christ. Our worship and praise teams, including musicians and singers, lead services in a spirit of warmth and reverence — and there is room for new volunteers to serve.

📖

Education & Discipleship

This is the heart of the Word movement taught by the Lord. Through Bible study, small groups, and discipleship training, we help one another grow as followers of Jesus — learning the Scriptures, asking honest questions, and building friendships that last. New believers and seasoned disciples alike find a place to deepen their faith.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Youth & Family Ministry

We provide caring faith education for children, youth, and families, and walk alongside parents as they raise the next generation. Through age-appropriate Bible teaching, mentoring, and safe, nurturing gatherings, young people are loved, discipled, and equipped — and families find encouragement and community for the journey.

🤝

Community Outreach & Service

We serve neighbors in need and warmly welcome immigrant and Korean-American families settling into a new home — offering friendship, practical help, and a place to belong. Through local volunteer projects and acts of hospitality, we meet real needs in Fort Lee and the wider community. This care is open to everyone, not only our members.

🌍

Missions

We share the gospel and offer humanitarian care both locally and abroad — pairing the message of hope with practical relief for people facing hardship. Through prayer, giving, and partnerships, our church takes part in raising up disciples among all peoples and in caring for the vulnerable near and far.

Belonging

Where Faith Becomes Family

Ministry at RODEM Church is never just a program — it is people. Around shared meals, small groups, and simple acts of kindness, strangers become friends and friends become family. For many immigrant and Korean-American households, this is a first place of welcome in a new country.

Come as you are. There is a seat at the table, a group to belong to, and a way to serve that fits your life.

Public Benefit

Serving Our Neighbors With Love

As a nonprofit faith community, our ministries are committed to concrete public good — education and discipleship for all ages, support for children and youth, care for immigrant and vulnerable families, and hands-on relief for neighbors in need. We put faith into action across Fort Lee and beyond.

Public Benefit

Faith That Serves Our Community

Everything we do is meant to bless not only our members but the whole community. Our ministries offer education and discipleship for all ages, caring support for children and youth, a warm welcome and practical help for immigrant and Korean-American families, and ongoing service for neighbors facing hardship. These efforts are open to everyone, regardless of background or belief.

“Let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18
